Summer of 2022, Travel + Leisure ranked Bermuda the 17th best island in the entire world, but I have been saying it is one of the best for the last seven years.

Ahhh Bermuda, before you even land, your eyes wander and marvel at the pastel colored homes contrasted with their white roofs. And of course, the stunning blues of the Atlantic ocean. Some parts of the ocean appear as if it is glowing.

Once you are on island, you start to realize the best part of Bermuda is Bermudians. Not only is this a remarkably social place to live, but it is a place where friends quickly turn into family.

In my mid 20's I boarded my first solo international trip, spent two weeks in Bermuda, and it completely changed my life. Yes, I know, so basic. Truth be told, Bermuda stole my heart before my mind even knew it and I have returned every single year since.
